The point of this project was to translate the meaning of a simple word into a color scheme. The word "Virgin" presents an interesting contrast in meaning. In one manner, this word stands for purity and goodness, even bringing up religious connotations. At the same time however, this word has taken on sexual meaning in recent years. It stands as an object of desire and lust, a target of sexual conquest. As such, matching colors to this word is an extremely complex process. This is the result as I see it.
