Something Familiar was a text commissioned for the publication Oblio, edited by Elisa Rusca and published by Broken Dimanche Press, Berlin. The book accompanies a show titled Oblivion and ideas around memory and fading memory are central themes to both. Something Familiar is a short story which focuses on the the relationship between memory and time, alluding to ideas of immortality being circular and infinite. The story is set within a particular window of time and strange incident that occurred during it. The story begins just after the event and explores it's reliving through the actions of it's central character.
