Color Study #2, 2012
Mirror & Colored Paper, Dimensions Variable
Untitled (A Study of Chirality) is an examination of form, color and simultaneous contrast as these phenomena present themselves in photographic space. Additionally, it is an exploration of the ways in which objects can be arranged within photographic space to produce visual effects that do not conform to expectations of how these objects should act. These effects, ideally, work towards reducing the phenomenological transparency of the objects and materials seen in the photographs and, perhaps most importantly, the photographs themselves.
