Mixed media installation including: Acrylic, ink, pencil, paint marker, and mica on canvas with colored mason's twine, stone, artificial trees, wood, and hardware
Dimensions variable, as shown, approx. 8 x 20 x 3 feet
This installation, of nearly 300 strings, extends from a painting that curves inside one corner of the exhibition space to a small sculpture on the wall approximately 20 feet away. The painting is rendered from the summer night sky where each point of the triangular shapes represents the actual placement of a star distorted by its projection on the curved surface of the canvas.
