This series of twelve images depicts roadside buildings in the states of Sonora and San Luis PotosÃ. Now deserted, they were originally constructed as restaurants, places occupied by diverse kinds of people in search of daily nourishment. These images not only document the buildings themselves, but the natural landscape to which they belong, where their solitude and abandonment reveals the ghosts that inhabit them.
