Fractured laminated glass was layed over ink jet photographs of mirrored tree branches atop a wooden platform. The platform spanned from wall to wall within the entry way of La Viola Bank Gallery, NY. Visitors to the were forced to walk over the glass upon entering and departing the gallery. As the glass was walked over, it became more cracked. The accumulation of fractures further obscured the complex imagery below. The title refers the Heisenburg Uncertainty Principle in quantum physics, which refers to the inherent influence of the observer upon the observed.
