"When Breaking a Current" was an installation in the Volksbühne, Berlin. Set in a marble theatre foyer, a walkway of glass cut its way through the center. The glass was smashed as an interactive performance. Mira O'Brien initiated the smashing, entering dramitically thruogh the doorway with a hammer in hand. Audience members were invited wreack their own havock on the glass! The cracks in the glass beautifully completed the imagery of a flowing net.
