Shack is an installation that was done on site for OmniArt 2005/06 during Art Basel. The work is a recreation of abandoned housing, reflecting the ever-changing surrounding community in downtown Miami (the warehouse the installation was done in is now the site of a highrise glass building) as well as the depressed (and not really changing) environment of downtown Kingston. It's a consideration of home and community and what we leave behind as traces of our existence.
