'Moon Infinitum' 2014, 2014
Smoke, bone, oil paint and music wire on whole calf skin., 100cm x 100cm x 20cm
My research on the Irish Anals and a set of 350-Million year old coral fossils are key components in this installation. I take as pictorial reference the graphic interpretation of data received by seismology as part of scientists' effort to chart distant earth movements which impacts on our weather. In this piece I am mostly using charred bone to paint on calf skin coupled with advanced technologies use in space exploration.
